France to cope with favourites tag - Saint-André
23 November 2012, 4:37 pm
By Sportsbeat
Philippe Saint-André wants to see how his team cope with the favourites tag as they look to complete a clean sweep during the autumn internationals against Samoa at the Stade de France.
Les Bleus finished fourth in the RBS 6 Nations but have impressed this November with convincing wins over Australia and then Argentina.

Samoa are also unbeaten, having seen off Grand Slam champions Wales in Cardiff last time out, and Saint-André has chosen to make three changes to his starting lineup for the clash.

Morgan Parra will start at scrum-half in place of Maxime Machenaud while Clermont pair Benjamin Kayser and Thomas Domingo come into the front row for Yannick Forestier and Dimitri Szarzewski.

Saint-André said: “We were the outsiders against Australia, it was 50-50 against Argentina and now we are in the role of favourites.

"We will see if we are capable of assuming that mantle and once again winning. We are trying to instil a culture of quality and consistency at the topmost level. That is the challenge that awaits us on Saturday."
